Our Story

Welcome to Grateful Mess Homestead! We are a family of four on 8 acres, raising animals, growing food, and learning how to live closer to the land. I’m an introverted, slightly chaotic homesteader who would rather be surrounded by animals than a crowd, and I’m happiest in the kitchen making as much as I can from scratch. This isn’t a picture-perfect homestead. It’s a place filled with half-finished projects, animals with big personalities, a family just trying to keep everything together, and a whole lot of gratitude.
